Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java programming, object-oriented design principles, and a passion for writing clean, efficient code. The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications
Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code following best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and define system functionality
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
Stay updated with emerging Java technologies and frameworks
Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience as a Java Developer or in a similar role
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and Java SE/EE
Experience with such as servlet, MVC, JDBC, spring
Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and bootstrap.
Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, Oracle,
Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services
Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Knowledge of DevOps tools like Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes
